The Tulsa metro is chalk-full of great, family friendly events and Christmastime is no exception. Whether you’re looking for indoor fun or outdoor adventure, Tulsa has something for everyone. Hot Coffey Design has gathered some of our favorite holiday activities for you:

Tulsa Winterfest:
Located right outside of the BOK Center, this public ice skating rink is the place to be this holiday season. If ice skating isn’t your idea of fun, hang out in the climate controlled tent and enjoy some hot cocoa. This event was touted as People Magazine’s #1 holiday tradition in Oklahoma. This is a must see.

Philbrook Festival:
A Tulsa gem, Villa Philbrook comes alive this time of year with tens of thousands of sparkling lights, luminaries, and music. The Philbrook boasts a museum shop for those who want to get a little Christmas shopping done while visiting the festival. For special events during this festival check here.

Christmas Kingdom at Castle of Muskogee:
The Castle of Muskogee has long been known for their extravagant holiday happenings and Christmas is no different. The Castle offers a variety of holiday fun: pony rides, camel rides, and a train ride around the Castle to view all the light displays just to name a few. Of course, the big guy, Santa, himself will be in attendance and available for pictures.  You don’t want to miss the Castle’s holiday festivities!

The Nutcracker:
Since its 1892 premier in St. Petersburg, Russia, The Nutcracker has been a holiday must-see. The Nutcracker ballet is the perfect marriage of theatrics and fantasy. Tickets start at only $25. For more information: Tulsa Ballet.
